In Loving Memory of Averie Joseph Tomah

No words can describe the grief I feel. The Lord took my beautiful boy home today. I'll never forget you Averie...the cute little bubble you blew on my shoulder, the toothless grin that made me so happy. A big peice of my heart is gone and I miss you already. I love you Averie, forever and a day!

Mary, I am so very sad to hear this news. It is shocking and almost hard to believe. Such a sweet little face, hold on to the memories and I hope as time passes they will bring you more peace and less sadness.

Mary, I am so sorry to hear of your grandson's passing. That is just so heartbreaking. I always enjoy your posts on Ravelry, and I am just so sorry to hear this. I will pray for you and your family. This is the type of loss that shakes even the deepest faith - and none of us can understand, but we stand with you. Chelle

Mary, my heartfelt condolences. I haven't been reading the boards much and just saw this. I know you will treasure his memory and I hope that someday the horrible pain will dull a bit.

My agent's 9 year old son passed away in April of neuroblastoma and someone gave her a way to try to cope by telling her to think of the pain as a set of furniture that was delivered that took up much too much of the room. The style was horrible and nothing in that furniture fit or looked good--but it could not ever be returned. At first, you constantly tripped over the furniture and everywhere you turned, you ran into it. As the years progressed, you managed to find places and and arrangment that wasn't quite so bad. You still tripped, but not as often. You would always hate it, but eventually you would find that you could live with it.
